Liam Payne (once again) speaks up.

Today was a weird day, to use the words of mr Payne.

The weed scandal plus the racist slur and the police crap were devastating and, of course, people on social media went mental.

However, on Twitter they went totally out of control.

Not only soon after the video leaked a troubling #cutforzouis tag got out, but things went even worse when a #SkinFor1D appeared among the worldwide trending topics. The trend idea was to show off skin to support One Direction (that’s a fucked up idea, I know) and some girls started sending pictures of their arms. Legs. Stomach. Until the tag was full of pornography.

That’s when Liam stepped in to save the situation.

Louis and Zayn caught up… in a cloud of smoke.

“Smoke weed everyday” sang Nate Dogg along with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Well, that may become Zouis’ new motto as the pair got filmed (more precisely, Louis filmed Zayn) sharing a joint.

Now, of course this isn’t the most shocking thing that’s ever happened in this fandom, if you’ve been here for a while.

Fans had the feeling that Zayn and Louis smoked weed, they have always had it. Also, the boys had already been caught smoking pot.

What is making people concerned and upset, more than the weed, is the talk the boys are having.

In particular, Louis’ harsh words against the police and a possible use of a racist slur.

We love our boys footballers.

I love football.

For you American people, I’m talking about soccer (of course).

And our boys, being smart lads, love football as well.

We already know Louis is almost a professional football player and boy, he rocks that jersey.

We also know that Harry, being a white girl (just kidding), went shopping instead of visiting the Boca Juniors stadium in Buenos Aires. He’s a crazy/lazy ass, isn’t he?

They had also prepared a Boca shirt for you, Harry. Shame.

Anyway, since I love football and I love our boys and I’m really envious they got to visit “La Bombonera”, I’ll dedicate this post to Football!1D.

Shit just got real.

Midnight Memories Review (reposted)

Hi guys!

I already made and published a review when the album was first leaked, but after listening to it everyday for almost a month, I have something more to say.

First of all, I’m still impressed with some of the songs. I knew these boys had the talent to bring out something good for their third album, but I didn’t think they would distance themselves so much from the teen pop that has made them so big.

They’ve taken their risks.

And indeed, the biggest risk they’ve taken is that of lacking energy. But, even after many months, I still think this is their best work. And I don’t understand those who say they’re not being fans anymore because the boys are commercial.

Like, did you notice that only now?

It’s clear that “Best Song Ever” was put in there to reaffirm the fact that they are teen idols. And to not disappoint the younger fans. But it gives a false impression on what their third album is: a pop record with folk and rock veins.

It is, indeed, a nice album for a boyband.

I think its success consists in the major involvement of the boys.

In particular, Liam and Louis have been heavily involved with the writing of this album. I really appreciate this.

I’m not saying this is the best album you will ever listen to or that this is the best they can produce. As a listener of good quality music, I think they’re still really far from producing a great pop record.

But I never thought they would make this jump. Today I am so proud of them.

#CHEERUPLIAM

Liam James Payne is the man.

After giving us a precious gift, the so long desired personal Instagram (@fakeliampayne), and crying during the first WWAT date while singing “You and I”, Liam is again in our thoughts for some mysterious tweets.

Of course, people have been wondering if “Sophiam” is over. Liam had already tweeted some hints on a possible break-up between him and Sophia, but these tweets look like more than hints.

Our Payno looks a bit sad these days and fans (remembering for once how he has always defended the fandom) created a beautiful trend for him on Twitter: #cheerupliam.

Amazing, isn’t it?

I’ve always been a big fan of Liam, I’ve always appreciated his honesty and his spontaneity. So I find the trend really cute and appropriated, he deserves it.

What he doesn’t deserves is seeing things like these on a trend that should cheer him up.

I don’t really understand what this fandom gains acting like this.

Yes, the tweets could be about Danielle. They could be about Sophia. They could also be some new lyrics from the new album the boys are writing.

But be smart: if Liam has really broken up with Sophia, why should he be happy seeing this crap?

Sometimes I wish this fandom was more sensitive about these things. What if Danielle is still getting over Liam and he’s thinking of Sophia or anyone else? What if Danielle has finally moved on?

I won’t even comment on the kidney bullshit, because if you are smart enough you will draw your conclusions.

Anyway, the important thing is that let’s-hate-on-Liam-Payne trend is over.

So #CheerUpLiam!
